『by the + 単位』の形で考える。これで、「〜単位で」という意味。

『the same』がつく名詞。

『the only』がつく名詞。

ただ１つと考えられるものは「the」をつける。「太陽、空、宇宙」などには「the」をつける。

食事・遊戯などの名称には「冠詞」をつけない。

「ウェイターさん、コーヒーを２つください。」より、『呼びかけ』には「冠詞」をつけない。
